Where I LIVE

The community I live in is very FAMILY-FRIENDLY AND EXTREMELY DIVERSE.

We have lots of amenities including basketball courts, tennis courts, pool, parks, walking paths, etc. I purchased my home 3 years ago and love where I live. The school system is amazing and l couldn’t be happier with my surroundings. I live a simple and practical life.

I CAN’T WAIT TO TAKE MY FUTURE CHILD TO THE PARK!

Although I am successful and financially secure, I don’t care about material things or my possessions. While my home is clean and presentable, I don’t stress about perfection. I live comfortably and I don’t sweat the small stuff. I want a home that is comfortable. One that affords us the ability to host family events one day and then spread out the toys in the living room and dance while all the teddy bears look on.

OF ALL THE ITEMS I HAVE IN MY HOME, MANY OF WHICH I HAVE SAVED OVER MY LIFE, MY MOST TREASURED ITEM IS THE WOODEN CRADLE MY GRANDFATHER MADE BY HAND IN PREPARATION FOR MY BIRTH. HE EVEN ATTACHED A PLAQUE TO IT WITH MY NAME AND BIRTH DATE.

My  WORK LIFE

Iwork for a company that fully supports family life. I will take 10 weeks of paid family leave immediately following the adoption. This will be so important to bond and learn each other’s rhythms. In addition, my position with the company does not require that I be in the office 100% of the time. I am afforded opportunities to work from home or be mobile while perfecting my role as a new mom.
